More about the process
What's real and what's fake were important elements in this text. I wanted to add extra depth to this through two elements in the design. First, I thought the magnification through the camera added an absurdist layer. By having the performers wear masks, they became more artificial as their faces were distorted and acquired a kind of plastic layer.
Designing a costume is mostly about testing it on yourself first :)
